Human Ecosystems Manager & Cambium Council Member
Kavitha (she/her), Human Ecosystems Manager & Cambium Council Member, is a mother, facilitator, and mediator. As a daughter of immigrants to the US, she has always been curious about differences and how we make meaning through connection to land, community, and place. Her 25+ years background in the non-profit sector focused on transformational leadership, building community and authentic partnerships, and tapping creativity and collective visioning for repair and healing. Kavitha’s healing offerings are deeply influenced by her training in yoga therapy, cranio-sacral therapy, ayurveda, and mindfulness. She co-founded Common Fire, a nonprofit that created intentional communities centered in justice, accessibility, and sustainability. Kavitha is a collective member of the Center for Whole Communities, a facilitator with Somatics of Money, and serves on the board for Soul Fire Farm. Her work, deeply influenced by her mentors and grassroots collaborations, is pivotal in providing a sanctuary for healing and refuge, guided by principles of ecological guidance and reverence for the Earth.
